AN OPEN LETTER TO DAVID ICKE
FROM RYU OHTA
Composed the autumn of 2004
Final check up:Nov.17th 2004
Translated by Grace-Eki
REGARDING THE LANGUAGE BARRIER
Dear David,
You must know how highly I value your work and efforts by the fact that
we had organized your inivitation to Japan in the year of 2002, and how
I have done my utmost to have your books tranlsated into Japanese.
So far three have been published:
"The Biggest Secret"
"Alice in Wonderland and World Trade Center Disaster"
"I am Me; I am Free"
I am still working on, and hoping for the publication of "Children of
Matrix"as well as "Robot's Rebellion".
There is something I have been wishing to point out to you for a long
time but has been unable to do so due to the language barrier, which is
much deeper and wider than you may assume.
This letter is based on a lecture I gave on Nov. 27th, 2003 in Bunkyo
Civic Centre
It is one of my monthly seminar that I have been hosting for the last
six years or so.....
"A Critique on David Icke; from the point of view of Eastern
Japanese civilization.
as well commenting on 'Alice in Wonderland and World Trade
Center Disaster ' , recently published by Sanko Sha 三交社. in October of
same year, and on Icke's latest publication, 'Tales from the Time Loop'.
.
David Icke, in his 'Alice in Wonderland and World Trade Center
Disaster' comments on the four positions taken by most people;
1) people who adhere to the status quo of society, i.e. most people
2) the Radicals
a) the Right Wing
b) the Left Wing
c) the Ecologists
d) and a wide variety of others
3) Conspiracy theory-oriented people/people attempting to expose the
conspiracy
4) People searching to go beyond the five senses, reaching out for the
infinity/the life beyond the senses or socail reality....
Obviously, 1)--3) are conrtained within the framework of the five
senses.
"Robot's Rebellion" (1994)
"Truth Will Set You Free" (1995)
"The Greatest Secret" (1999)
"Children of the Matrix" (2001)
"Alice in Wonderland and World Trade Center Disaster "(2002)
These five books are within the world of five senses and its main
purpose is exposing the lesser known aspects of history/ the so-called
"conspiracy".
He has stated at the end of his last book, that his hope is to go
beyond the limitation imposed by the five senses.
"Tales from the Time Loop" (published 2003, Novenber)
The emphatic theme of this book is;
1) Infinite love is the only truth, everything else is illusion.
2) The construction/division of the book is;
a) the conspiracy within the realm of
five senses
b) the conspiracy within the frame work
of the “aliens”- and other related dimensions
c) all is illusion
d) overcoming that illusion
This expression of "Love", of loving the enemy, of loving the
Illuminati has been consistent since "Robot's Rebellion".
The problem lies within the word itself.
It is too much for this poor (in the sense of having no content),
miserable, over-used and abused, trivialized word(s) to adequately
express whatever Icke is attempting to express.
But Icke as a member of the British citizenship, has really no other
word to express his attempt
Due to the lack of words/ vocabulary, Icke is unable to go beyond the
frame work of the Western world.
Hence he is confronted with a barrier, and in his attempt to overcome
that; calls it, for the lack of proper word, "infinity".
But by doing so he actually frames the problem into a lower and
childish dimension.
In the Western world, God. and Allah are also expressed as infinity and
vice-versa.
Icke also states that this infinity-love, equals to oness.
This English word, "oneness."...
This actually confuses and distorts.
This word oneness is based on the word one which is a number.
The computation of numbers already starts in primitive societies.
The Chinese writer Ko Ransei 胡 蘭成 has to be understood here....
Mankind in order to proceed towards the enlightment of civilization,
must understand "Mu"-無 (the Emptiness, void, nil etc.)
「人類が文明の悟りを開くとは、無を悟ること」
"In order for mankind to reach Satori (enlightment) Mu must be
understood."
This word, 無for the lack of an appropriate translation , we will just
call it the Void, but without the realization of this existence,
civilization can not really be born.
Or whoever can not comprehend this Void, can never create civilization.
For he, who is without this comprehension is not creating civilization
but a state known as無明
It may appear civilized, it may seem like a civilization but it is not.
It becomes a potential variation of those that fell into digression,
and who never reaches/d the state of a genuine 'civilization'.
無を悟る: (to know the condition of Mu)
is to be aware of this emergence between the one and all the rest of
the Nature, if not of the Universe.
One comprehends the order of universe.
One sees the position of all existence and its function or the path of
all.
>From the void, all is born.
There is cycle, a cyclical process and all proceeds back to this Void.
Icke attempts valiantly to go beyond the framework of the West, but he
falls into the traps that exists within Western civilization.
He claims that oneness is infinite love and the only truth, or the only
way/path.
(The exact wording is-" Infinite love is the only truth; everything
else is illusion"..)
To separate from this oneness, is to fall into the trap of Illuminati's
illusion.
This itself is another one of the illusionary traps.
Is there really a relationship/affinity/equality between the word One
and Love....?
At the moment English language is the most dominating,, globally
accepted and used language on earth...
So people who use English, whose maternal language is English becomes
imbued with the politically dominating and still very active British
Imperialistic ideology.
This is like the influential power of the "mother's milk" and occurs on
a subconscious level.
By the time one can become conscious of such distinction, it is far too
deeply embedded into the very organs of one's existience and identity,
to become really aware, be able to be conscientious of it and separate
the word from ideology.
So English becomes the absolute yard-stick. with appropriate. value
attached to it.
It is inevitable.
'Infinite'- why is this word expressing the infinite.
For us Japanese the profound meaning attached to the roots of this word
will be/is -incomprehensible.
Infinite-the word seems to be born from the Latin roots of having no
end.
Expressing -'the having of no end' , may be an inadequate way in order
to express the endeavour of Nature and Kosmos.
And if it does express, at least denote the attempt and function
related to Nature and Kosmos, then it should not be equaled to or even
attached to the word 'love'.
The two are not on the same level.
So what is this word 'love', and what is it really symbolizing....
People of the Meiji period had a dislike for this word as being too
Western, ("too buttery" is the precise expression written here).
This word was translated into Japanese Kanji as Aiー愛.
This word Ai愛occupied a rather low position in the verbal hierarchy of
both Japan and China.
According to the vocabulary of the Chinese sage Lao-Tsu (老荘) the
necessary words for a proper and dignified life would be;
Jin仁- which the right English word can not be found so far...
(To help with the understanding here are some interpretaions regarding
the meaning of this word仁:
According to Ko Ransei 『 孔子は 「仁知」といっている。 仁とは感ずることであり、感ずることで知るのである。
知とは即ち行てせあり、 行為をすることである。 例えば 県知事といえば県のことをするという意味である。 「仁知」というのはこれた゛けのことであ
るが、。。。。。』
Confucius calls this state as knowing the 仁-JIN (pronounced like the
liquor –Gin).
It is to feel and by feeling it, to know-what it is. This knowing 知, is
also about acting it out in the behaviour. It is a process of
knowing/feeling it and then doing it. For example as a State
Representative, one acts out for the state and fulfills what must be
done on behalf of the state. So that is the simple meaning of
「仁知」.
>From the book "Dedicated to Japan and the Japanese" pg.188
Ishii Isao writes in his book 「漢字興国論」
『儒教が最も 重んずる徳は.「仁」です。
The most highly valued principle in Confucius’philosophy would be JIN
これ「人」と「二」とで「人二人」、つまり「人と人」の関係を意味した字でね, 英語の"human"から作られた
"humanity"に符合ます。 「人間らしさ」と解釈しても
This kanji is a combination of people/human beings and the number two.
It depicts the relationship one has with each other.
It could be equated to the word ‘humanity’which is derived from the
word, human.
It defines what mankind should all be about....
良いですが、 中味は「思ひやりの心」です。 キリストの説く「愛」、釈迦の「慈悲」と同じだと考へても差支へないと思います。
The content of this word is all about consideration for others.
What Christ calls Love, Buddha Compassion-I feel it can be equated to
that.
「年老いた親を、どんな事をしてでも養ふ」といふ心は仁の基礎であり、出発点であります。 この心がないやうな者は「自分の利益を犠牲にしても、国 他人
の為に役立ちたい」といふ心が有てるわけが無いのです。 然し、この心が無くては人間の社会は成り立たないのです。 国民の半数以上が この心を有たな
かったら、困難に遭遇 したら 一溜りも無く壊されてしまいます。』
To take care of one’s aging parents despite all hardship and obstacles
is one such acts of Jin.
This is the basis and the foundation of society. Otherwise concepts
like self-denial, self-sacrifice for the betterment of others, for the
welfare of other/all, for the country/father-mother land and so forth
would never be born.
Not only that the basis of society would crumble -if at least half, if
not more than half of the people do not possess such an attitude and
behaviour.
Other principles would be:
Gi 義 dogma/principles
Rei 禮 ritualistic behaviour based on a concept, such as gratitude- to
be adhered to in daily life
Chi 智 intellect
Shin 信to believe and to be believed
Chu 忠fidelity/honesty
Kou 考to think, reflect and contemplate
Kei 敬 respect
Ki 気air, spirit, aura, intent and thought as well as feelings/emotion
Makoto 誠fatihfulness and consistency
Jihi 慈悲 compassion
On 恩 appreciation and the process of not forgetting and
contributing back to society/nature whatever aid/help/favour one
received in one's lifetime/family's generational time span
Also words like;
Dou/Michi 道the way, the path
Taikyoku 太極 Tai-Chi or the matrix of all polarity
In-Yo 陰陽Yin-Yang the balance, the relationship
between plus-minus, positive-negative, polarity, contrast
Ten-chi-jin 天地人 Heaven/Earth /Person, the (correct ) positioning
of mankind, Cosmic ‘Earthian’ Being
In the Japanese culture, other words of necessity are:
Jyo/Nasake 情an underlying flow that binds the universe and earth
Wa 和 harmony, circle
Kami かみ
Mikotoみこと
Inochi いのち
The proper traditional interpretation of these words have to be
re-understood.
These are often expressed in Kanji these day but that is a mistake.
These words and their meaning were here in Japan way before Kanji made
its appearance from China.
Nawashiro Seitaro 苗代 清太郎;
he has the best explanation, and these are taken from his books.
Each Japanese word, or better yet each sound has a dual, contradictory
meaning within itself, even if the root stems from the same natural
phenomena.
Here we would concentrate only on three words as to give you a sampling
of what is implied here.
The uniqueness of this particular language;
The sounds Ka-Miかみmeans first and foremost Nature.
But before that each sound has to understood and examined.
Ka is a sound denoting "change".
The subjective mass transforms and changes itself into something else.
a kind of metamorphosis.
It can be simply by association, or extension or by splintering.
The change can be radical but the roots derived from will be the same.
Once again two contradictory processes will be within the same
phenomena.
As in Nature....
Hence, chemistry and scinece are called Ka-gaku, 科学a study/reaserch on
the "Ka", process of change.
For a long time in the Japanese science world any process of change too
fast to be rendered visible was called "kami".
Any process beyong the graspability of a human would be also
considered "kami" so Nature would be
called that too.
Mi means the content and/or essence.
So these kanjis like 記or 紀depicitng the historical records of gods,
Nature, or leader were also read as Kami.
So in the History of Japan, 日本紀 which in reality a calendar as
well, one encounters all these Kanjis but it would be read the Japanese
way, for Kanji was imposed on an already pre-existent comcepts.
「神聖、神人
始めて神人あり、 可美葺牙彦舅尊と號す
人
一書に曰く、 便ち化為ませる人を國常立尊と號く
都督 景行紀五十五年二月
首長 成務紀四年春二月 Words
in Bold can be read and understood as Kami and following
the
words are the dates first written in the Ko-Ji-Ki
長 同
天 仁徳紀七年夏四月
神祇 履仲紀五年春三月
雷 雄 紀七年秋七月
霊 欽明紀二年秋七月
長官 孝徳紀大化元念八月
古事記 神 迦微 上
It also means the Leader, or person of authority, leadership.
It also means plus and minus,. above and to depart.
It also means beneath and under the ground.
Death is departing back to earth underneath hence there is logic here.
It means where life started, and also included to refer to the amoebas,
bacteria and even moss.
This concept of gods/nature/life force was already present during the
Jyomon period.
These multiple concepts had a hard time trying to fit into the world of
kanji wherein only one specific concept is expressed.
Hence we have the word Kami expressed in these following Kanjis
Kanji was created in China approximately five thousand years ago.
These Japanese words derives from the Jyomon period and has been usage
in the everyday language of the Japanese for over ten thousand years.
上 to express the position above
天 to express the universe, ether, galaxy can be read also as
'ama' and this is where the word 'ame' rain is derived
from Also天の川 is the Milky Way
紙 paper
神 god, gods, God, Gods
雷 kami as well as kaminari and if expressed as Kaminari-sama the god of
storm and thunder
髪 hair
加味 an added taste or a subtle taste
守 to protect
噛み to chew
香美 beautiful aroma
迦微 subtle invisible creatures, bacteria, viruses up to moss
and its vegetable group
伯 aristocratic position
頭 the head
椿 the camellia tree
Also as the head of the household, a wife is called Kami and pople
would refer to his wife as Okamisan
おかみさん お上さん 御かみさん 女将さん 御上さん オカミサン さん san as opposed
toさま 様 sama for the gods and elders.
Mikoto would derive form Mi-ko, which in turn denotes
the Origin.
as well as the following connotations
巫女priestess 神子 child of god/Kami/nature
御子 皇子child of Emperor or of royalty 皇女can be empress, Empress, as
well as of aristocratic or symbolic nobility
and the sound "TO" means to teach and also to carry in the sense of
carrying out one's destiny, in carrying a message and applying to
action the internal thoughts, to carry through, throughout life......
So Mikoto means a sacred teaching, or an admirable thought, deed and
philosophy or somebody, anybody capable of directing, leading pople
towards such a way...-hence respect.
A mission carried, that equals to how a life is lived.
いのち
Inochi
Once again although the Kanji does exist for this word, please
understnad that the word itself is much much older.
Chi ち -the roots of this sound
and the word 'inochi'
If expressed in the Chinese kanjiit would be written thus命,
meaning life/
The sound 'chi'
ち 's first and foremost meaning would be
ちち 父 father, fatherhood
乳 and at the same time milk of nourishment, motherhood, the giver
of milk
(Remenber that all Japanese/Jyomon sounds and words have at least dual
or contradictory (Polar) meaning in the same sound/word., followed by a
multiplicity of connotation by extension.
血 blood where life is sprung and maintained
地 earth or soil, the ground ibid
知 智 to know and knowledge deeper understanding enables one to
live better
治 to remedy, fix, to cure, as related to the above. for when
knowledge is abused, or misused, it leads to imbalance in the cosmic
order.
Another 'chi' is the wind.
風it purifies the atmosphere from hence all life thrives and it brings
froth the hot and cold so essential for life processes.
So finally, by extension that energy which animates life.
So Inochi is the Kami of existence.
「イノチ・生命のカミ」
There is no mention of 'love'/ 愛
In fact love, Ai constitutes a part of this expression:
Ai-Zou 愛憎 which translates
to Love/Hate.
Love is the other side of hate and hence should be avoided.
An old Japanese expression/proverb:
可愛さあまって憎さ百倍
-due to love, fondness, attachment-hate increases a hundred times.....
There is a warning towards this particular process called 'love'.
It is to be treated with caution.
But despite that warning and similar countless warning,s the Meiji
Restoration ended up opening the gateway wide for the infiltration of
the Illuminati West and the Japnese language has bercome steadily
corrupted and transformed to the point that currently, yes 'love' is a
popular expression in the Japanese language and its status has been
elevated contrary to the traditional Japanese language and is
functioning to obscure and destroy other words and values .
Within thirty years Post WWII the new generation by Showa 50's or circa
1975 or so, the Japanese traditional language and its Kotodama 言霊 (the
spirit of the word) starts to shift deeply towards accommodating the
Western (English) expressions and its concepts.
So love becomes a common word; an over abundant and trivialized
expression in the existence of the Japanese people.
This word, as utilized by most of who uses this word, or at least so in
Japan will be that of/ equivalent to the word Eros.
At least until Edo period this word Love/Eros would be expressed, not
as 愛 Ai but more precisely by the following words:
色欲 desire
欲情 lust
淫欲 decadence
淫乱 perversity
If this has been the traditional interpretation/understanding of
several centuries, then statement like;
Infinite love is the only truth - becomes rather pointless.
In studying the Chinese "I -Ching," The Book of Change 易経one encounters
this heading:
天行建
Meaning approximately, the way of the universe flows smoothly
Infinity can not be a correct word to express the ways of the universe
and Nature.
Icke denies Monotheism.
Hence there can not be the (sole) Creator of the Universe.
Then how would he explain the creation of this world.
He really doesn't divulge an answer to that question.
Infinite love and oneness-that is all and that seems to be both the
beginning and the end, as well as being the all.
Well then, where did the 'one/One' come from?
I/ 1. This number
This is derived from Pythagoras, the Greek philosopher from his concept
on the natural numbers.
Phythagoras was a mathematician. Mathematics is not the same as
computation nor arithmetic.
It is said to be the science of numbers.
But he does not explain from whence came the existence of this number,
one.
Ko Ransei explains this in his 「自然学」" ( A Study on Nature?/ the
reflections regarding the five immutable processes of Nature and
universe? )" of Showa 47 or 1972
So this concept behind the word infinity, is it at all related to the
finite or not.
Icke does not explain this but it is not just Icke, but hardly any
scientists, mathematicians ever really express /define this in the West.
So if, aside from love all the rest is illusion, then what exactly is
that ...
Illusion is explained as something transitory, false, an
apparition, related only to the visual.....
According to Buddhism this implies the part of their theory
of 唯識論-epistemology would be the nearest word for this.
But I have never heard that Icke has researched/was researching/ has
deeply investigated/converted into- Buddhism.
While it is true that the influence of New Age has become rather strong
and starting to entrench into the quotidian lives of many in the West
and that this New Age concepts has strong influx of Hindu thoughts.
One of the strongest influence is the concept of the Chakras based on
Yoga.
Icke in his 1996 book of "I am Me, I am Free" goes into a bit of detail
here about the Chakras.
Among the Asian countries, India has had the influence of a version of
monotheism,-
" Islam" earlier than the rest.
India was subjugated to the Islamic Empire, then followed by the
domination by Portugal, Holland, France and finally the British..
Because of this, English became the norm for the Indian upper class,
and because of this history, there are many books in English about
India.
So this may in turn gives the sensation that Indian philosophy/religion
lies, as a part of their(English) cultural heritage.
But this itself is an illusion and self-delusion.
Although it can not be helped that due to proximity and contact,
cultures-inevitably- influence each other.
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DAVID ICKE AND THE NIRVANA
Based on an article published in "Weekly Nippon Newsletter"
under the section of Cosmic Strategy Report # 1,479
Heisei 15 (2003) Decenber 17th.
Just finished reading David Icke's latest book "Tales from the
Time Loop".
The words 'infinity' and 'oneness' are used basically interchangeably.
Separation is expressed negatively.
(Separation from this unifying oneness).
This form of thinking does not exist within the framework of the West.
Relatively speaking, it has more similarity with the concept of
buddhistic涅槃, entering into the state of 涅・槃, also expressed
under the word Nirvana.
I do not know, but believe that Icke has not been properly trained
under the dogmas of Buddhism.
He may have gotten some training through a part of Buddhism, like in
Yoga.
Yoga of course is part of the tradition of India and is not exclusive
to Buddhism, but rather that Buddhism has incorporated this Indian
tradition of Yoga into its teaching..
This became Zen in China.
The state of Zen, is not that of the state of Nirvana but there is a
connection here.
Accortding to Ko Ransei:
The Nirvana of Civilization would mean, these following
order/conditions-
This is explained in detail in his book"自然学"
息 (A very bad approximation in English would be 'breath'
↓
生 'Life/movement'
↓
命 ' soul/mind'
↓
悟り satori/nirvana
that these four steps are necessary to comprehend Nature.
But to put it more succinctly , the next diagram expresses the concept
better.
息
↑↓
生
↑↓
命
↑↓
悟り(Satori)
This circular movement completes the process.
This concept, expressing the enlightment (the direction/immutable law)
of civlization was born and completed in China.
Based on this concept how and where would Buddhism be placed.
It would probably be expressed thus:
息 ← 悟り (Satori)
This would be Nirvana.
Breath 息in this case is about the ultimate Nature, the matrix of Mu・無
The ultimate Nature is in realty the Void and from this Void comes
forth all creations.
In Buddhism, one goes form the Breath息→ to enlighment 悟り, while
skipping all the other processes, as Ko Ransei correctly asserts.
Thus civilization can not be created based on Buddhism.
This is a crucial point.
This can be further read in his-(胡 蘭成講義録 第二巻「卿雲」、二十三頁、他)
I have no idea how much Icke knows about Nirvana or Satori.
Through his concepts and usage on words like 'infinity and oneness',
one detects quite a similarity.
Similarity, yes but that does not imply equality or sameness in their
content.
When Icke talks about 'infinite love' there is a strong religious
colouring here, as with Christianity which claims to be a religion of
love/Love/ love of Christ/love from Christ....
One often hears this expression utilized from the Chinese classic:
「天地不仁」 天地は仁ならず
meaning that Earth/Heaven (Nature) is not necessarily 'kind' to humans
and other creatures of existence here.
Nature repaets the cycle of 'Sei' and 'Kai'. 成と壊。。。。
The process of creating/being and its subsequent demise...
At the cycle of destruction, all creatures perish.
According to Ko Ransei;
in Buddhism there exist the concepts of 「空」(of the sky, as well as
emptiness, Greek 'ether'?)
and 「色」( basically colour/colouring/light and atmosphere), but does
not talk of the transition from one state to the other as well as what
consists the threshold of each.,
Icke as a Westerner not only does he not know the distinction
of/between 「空」and 「色」
but does not know the concepts, the Kanji or even these words
themselves.
But it is also an arrogant presumption to assume that all the current
Japanese can distinguish these words.
They would know the words but that does not necessarily constitute
comprehension.
With the assassination of Komei Emperor and the subsequent obscuration/
falsification of this fact had created a class of ruling elite,
rendered intellectually impotent through taboo, has created the modern
brain-washed Japanese who no longer is able to decipher the concepts of
these words.
They no longer know {空」 or「色」.
They are no longer taught, even once in their lifetime what these words
mean.
「空」 to them would imply the English word 'sky'.
「色」 to them would mean the English word 'colour' and only that....
This is a genuine tragedy.
One can no longer be critical or ridicule the Westerner's ignorance.
In the scroll of般若心經there is this section regarding 「空」「色」
色不異空 空不異色
色即是空 空即是色
For most of the current Japanese this would makes as much sense as
"Abracadabra..."i.e. utter jibbersh.
In Ko Ransei's book 「中國のこころ」(The Heart/Soul of China) which in reality
is a partial translation of his book written and published in Chinese
after his exile.
The Japanese version was translated/published in 1956.
The translation was done by Ikeda Atsuki 池田篤紀.
As a Japanese diplomat in China during the汪兆銘 Ou Cho Mei Dynasty in
Nankin, he became a close friend and aided him (Ko) for his exile to
Japan.
There is a passage here in this book that states;
According to Ko Ransei, the value of Western civilization is
based not on reality but on ‘fiction’
胡 蘭成曰く、 西洋文明の價値は、實でなく 仮 であった、と。
Page 119 of the book.
This is an exceedingly astute observation.
As far as the author knows, nobody-meaning especially an Easterner, has
ever expressed this thought so decisively and succinctly.
This word仮in the modern post WWII Japanese, or假 in the traditional
Kanji ーmeans irreal, borrowed, false among other interpretations.
Taken with this context when Icke talks that all is illusion except for
infinite love, we become capable of seeing its background as well.
The West is really imbued with/created on the basis of illusion.
But that does not imply that the valuation of Western civilization
itself is an illusion.
In the West value is given to illusion.
假can also be understood as 'fiction'/fictitious.
It implies also the word 'virtual'.
The Western yard stick by giving valuation to illusion, is progressing
precisely in that direction.
It is a truly strange story.
How can such a horde of 'un-natural' people make a natural appearance
and gain dominance of this planet.
The roots of this can be traced back first to the creation of the
system of slavery; and the matrix of that is the systematic, forced
attempt of domesticating animals from the anthropologically
advantageous intention only.
Ko Ransei in his book "Dedicated to Japan and the Japanese People"
states:
「日本及び日本人に寄せる」
「大自然は、無から有への際での変化しの成りゆきにある。 それ故、 老子が初めから 無と有とを提出したのは偉い。
“Nature is the result of the process if change occuring when universe
shifts from無MU(the void) to有 YU (being, existence). Therefore it
is of great value and capability that Lao-Tzu starts of the premise of
existence with these two concerpts at the very beginning.”
インドでは空と色の字を使う。
それだけに釈迦も偉かった。
“India utilizes these two words、 空/ 色 proving that Buddha was a great
thinker/observer”
無と有を知らなくては、宇宙やその他もろもろの事をいくら研究してみてもどうにもならないのである。
Without comprehending 無 and 有, it is pointless to research about the
universe. It will become an exercise in futility.
仏法が万法の法だというのは、宇宙は空と色であることを悟ったからである。
しかし、釈迦も空から色の際での変化を知らず、これを無意味の幻覚という。
One of the reason why Buddhism is so universal is because Buddha
understood that universe is constructed from無and 有, but his limitation
was that he never realized the process of change and examined the
threshold of each state, and claimed all as a non-significant illusion.
大自然は動いているのに仏法は動を否定している。
Nature/Kosmos is in constant flux/movement but Buddhism denies this.
それではすべての諸学問の基準とすることはできないし、文明の建設の にならないのである。
By this denial, Buddhism can never became a basis of research, nor can
it offer a basis for the construction of a civilization.」
This book was written in the Japanese language, by the author's choice.
For the moment it is basically impossible to translate this passage
into English.
To start off with the word-Nature/nature of the West does not equate to
these kanji:
「大自然」 「自然」
The appropriate explanation of this concept is expressed as 「カミ」.
Nawashiro's explanation of these two sounds are
「無」 Nothingness, void
「有」 Being, existence
「際」 (this is left blank)
「空」 " "
「色」 " "
There are no words to express these words....
Buddhism understood the existence of 「空」 「色」-
but never examined Nature up to its threshold and its
metamorphorsis/process of change and cycle.
Without acknowledging this process of movement and change, -has claimed
that all is simply a sheer illusion.
Society, culture, civilization-these processes can not be constructed
on the basis of an illusion.
I very much would like Icke to encounter a form of enlightment/satori
regarding what constitutes a
genuine "civilization". He appears to me that instead of heading
towards that direction, is actually doing a detour (reversing himself
or into some cyclical labrythine).....
Some of the obstacles for him, (obviously according to my point of
view) are:
1) Icke doesn't know neither China nor Japan.
2) He doesn't know Kanji
3) never studied the Chinese classics
4) does not know neither the Japanese language nor its classics
5) is unaware of the existence of Jyomon civilization and ancient
Japanese history
6) has no idea that there was an Imperial decree regarding the caging
and consumption of animals in Japan called 「殺生肉食禁断令」
And that this lasted for over a thousand years-'til Meiji Restoration.
7) is unaware that the concept/system of animal
domestication/husbandry/livestock and so forth should be re-examined
and its assumptions questioned.
( in this concept, someone like the French
intellectual Paul Virilio (1932-)-along with E.M..Cioran, comprehends
deeper and better the dilemma imposed by the West. than
Icke. I have only recently discovered his work ( in the
Novenber of 2003, but has read almost everything available in
translation of both Virilio and Cioran).
In his most recently published book here in Japan, "Ce que
arrive"(Rouglhy the translation of the title would be a/the ‘World
Heading for Self-Suicide’-at least that is how it is titled in
Japanese, or simply Things to come, or that which will
coming/arriving) he states that the history of Western
civilization (mankind) is nothing more than competition in speed." The
origin of this of course comes from the process of hunting.; one had to
outrun the prey in order to catch it.
This of course reminds me of the Olympics. In the Greek
times as well as now, one of the major event is in the competition for
running.
Or to put it precisely , in diminishing the speed required to fulfill
the same distance.
"Faster, stronger, further....."
His quotations in Japanese would be:
「ビィリリオによれば、 この数万年の西洋人類の歴史は、この速度競走の延長」だと言ふ。
そして「その原点は狩りに於いて、獲物を追いかけること」だそうだ。
And for the past six hendred years "techno-science "(Virilio's personal
phrase) has
「絶えることなく形づくってきたものの核心には、消滅の概念 がある。 すなわち、 世界から生命世界の実質を容赦なく排除してしまおうという概念であ
る。」
(page 35)
(The crux of this process lies in the total disappearance of other
lives, other existences...)
「二十世紀におけるテクノサイエンス的 (進歩) の狂信者たち。。。。。にとって進歩とは、 自然への衝撃なのである。」
(page 146)
(The concept of progress for the twentieth cent. insane Technocrats is
that of an attack/assault towards Nature.)
「今日、人間の文明は世界の生物を絶滅させようとしている。」
(Mankind today, in the name of scientific progress is on the verge of
exterminating life here on this planet)
(page 104)
And finally his awareness that
「家畜制度は人類の退化と滅亡への入口であるねと言い切らなければならない。」
(One has to define the domestication of animals as an entrance to this
decay, decline and destruction for the human race)
Here are some of Virilio's statements in the original from his "Ce Qui
Arrive", for you know eloquence and style are not translatable.
And finally as this was written and concluded on the 20th of October
2001, Virilio emphatically states-
8) Icke does not know about the existence of 「黄老」among the Chinese
classics.
( It deals with Lao-Tsu 老子and the Yellow Emperor黄帝 and their doctrines)
But all this can be implied, not just to Icke but to almost all of the
contemporary anti-NWO/Illuminati researchers.
When Icke talks about "infinite love being the only truth", he sounds
too much like a contemporary re-interpretation of Jesus Christ.
I would like him to seriously investigate what Ko Ransei had observed
regarding the five processes of Nature.
This is from his book 「日本及び日本人に寄せる」pages 103-200.
Icke is attempting to transcend the boundries imposed by the Western
valuation and running outside the invisible mental prison created by
the same Western mentality.
But his goal or the direction of his vision is rather opaque and
distant.
The English ( and other similar Western ) languages do not have the
proper vocabulary to express the genuine state of universe and nature,
nor words to explain what should constitute a proper civilization.
Because of that, one ends up going around in a circle while one thinks
one is proceeding -progressing in a direct line.
It is a limitation imposed by the language.
As you yourself has so eloquently explained in the "Time Loop" book-:
“Method in the Madness
We should not be kidded by the ridiculous words and terms spawned by
the censors of political correction.
Yes, it appears so breathtakingly dumb and many of its ignorant
practitioners are. But behind that is a coldly calculated plan
that has been long in the making..
In 1984, Orwell's Newspeak changed the language to remove the words
that described political ideas at odds with the official position and a
major aim was to reduce the number of words available to people. ...
Orwell knew that as you reduce the number of words available, you
contract correspondingly the ability to express your thoughts as
words.. To suppress words is to suppress thought...
The further you reduce the words (and through the generations even the
awareness of them) the more bland communication becomes and the desire
to read and write books will diminish.
Blandness is what the manipulators are looking for and any words that
makes a clear statement are targeted.....The manipulators want to
reduce the words available to express a thought and, through this,
influence what and how people think. When the words to express a
thought is gone, so has the thought because in reality we think in
words.
The same happens to memory which can not be consciously retained
without the words to express it.......
..the key motivation of Newspeak"....to diminish the range of thought
,,," and "In the end we shall make thought crime literally impossible
because there will be no words in which to express it".
Page428-429
This has been going on not just now but for centuries.
The apex of English language is probably with Marlowe/Shakespeare.
Shakespeare is said to have a vocabulary richer than any other writer
by 50%.
>From then on it has been a steady decline.
The apex of Western thought lies with the Greeks.
Ancient Greek is the most linguistically precise, rich and the best
language for expressing the history of thoughts like, science or
philosophy and other prccesses of “mentalite’” in the Western world.
It is a language said to have come from Sanscrit...
At any rate they had the best/the most accurate /specific language in
the Western hemisphere.
>From that point on which was the highest point in Western thoughts , it
has been a steady decline......
Especially a tumultuous decline post Marlowe/Shakespeare as emphasis
shifted to the subject/subjective concepts and the subject-object
relationship (this relates to the us vs. them, the master and the
slave, the dominant and the dominated), and as the world splintered
more and more into mechanics and specialization,, along with
domination/dissection of and shrinkage regarding Time.
There may have been increase in the vocabulary regarding objects within
the wall of the five senses, but in reality a paucity related to words
for the world beyond the visible.
So in order to properly express your attempt, perhaps one should go
back at least East to the Greeks if not possibly further in both time
and direction.......
Sincerely and with Best Regards
